TSICET Eligibility Criteria

The Telangana State Council for Higher Education (TSCHE) releases the eligibility criteria for TSICET. Aspirants seeking admissions to MBA programmes offered by various institutes in the state of Telangana must possess a graduation degree in order to apply for the exam. Eligible candidates can submit the application form in online mode.

Eligibility Criteria for MBA Programme

  • Aspirants seeking admissions to MBA programmes offered by the state institutes should be graduates from a recognised university with a course duration of minimum three years.

  • They must have secured minimum 50 percent marks (45 percent in case of reserved category) in the qualifying examination.

  • The qualifying Degree obtained by Distance Mode Program should have recognition by joint committee of UGC, AICTE and DEC.

  • Candidates who are still appearing in the final year of their graduation are also eligible to apply.

  • Age Criteria: There is no age limit for applying.

  • The qualifying marks for TSICET are 25 percent. There are no minimum marks prescribed separately for SC/ST candidates. 

There are certain basic guidelines to keep in mind while filling the application form for TSICET:

  • Only Indian national aspirants can apply for the exam.
  • They must satisfy the local/non-local status requirements as prescribed.
  • Aspirants belonging to nationalities other than India should satisfy rules of the Universities concerned.
