TANCET MBA - Tamil Nadu

TANCET (Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test) has to be taken for seeking admission to postgraduate MBA programmes offered by Anna University and colleges affiliated to Anna University, The Government College of Technology Coimbatore, The Government Colleges of Engineering at Salem and Tirunelveli and to other government aided and unaided colleges.

You should obtain a bachelor degree in any academic disciplines from a recognised university or college. General category aspirants must obtain 50 percent marks in aggregate and reserved category students must secure 45 percent marks in their bachelor’s programme.

The final admissions to the participating institutes are based on the TANCET MBA cutoff. Qualifying candidates need to appear in the counselling rounds for the final admissions to MBA programme in the participating colleges of Tamil Nadu.

Anna University publishes the counselling schedule along with the rank list. Candidates who have successfully submitted the online counselling registration form are able to attend the TANCET MAB counselling session. You need to carry the call letter while appearing for the counselling session. After the counselling, listed candidates are allotted seats in one of the participating institutes of the state of Tamil Nadu.
