Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) are one of the most prestigious colleges every CAT aspirant dreams of getting into. However, there are many other prestigious business institutes where you can you go other then the most famous IIMs.

1. Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), Delhi

FMS, South Campus, New Delhi was established in 1954. It and has both part-time and full-time MBA programmes along with other higher education programmes like doctoral programmes. FMS is very popular among the MBA aspirants as it has low course fee and numerous placement opportunities, completely at par with the IIMs.

2. S.P.Jain Institute of Management & Research (SPJIMR), Mumbai

S. P. Jain Institute of Management & Research (SPJIMR) was started in 1981. It has maintained the top position through out over the years.

3. Xavier Labour Relations Institute (XLRI), Jamshedpur

XLRI, Jamshedpur was staerted in 1949 and is one of the oldest B-Schools in India. XLRI enjoys the popularity because of its flagship programme in Human Resource Management (HRM). It also has programmes in other specializations as well.

8. Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (JBIMS), Mumbai

NITIE was started in 1963. 10. International Management Institute (IMI), New Delhi

IMI, New Delhi was established in 1981 and was India's first corporate sponsored business school. Other campuses of the institute are located in Kolkata and Bhubaneshwar. It is one of the seven B-schools in India to get accreditation from the international accreditation agency, AMBA.

11. Indian School of Business (ISB), Hyderabad

ISB was founded in 2001. In 2008, ISB became the youngest institution to find a place in global MBA rankings when it was ranked 20. The Indian School of Business (ISB) has two campuses, one in Hyderabad and a new campus in Mohali.
