IIM-A & IIM-C in Top 20
IIM Calcutta's Post Graduate Program (PGP) has been ranked 19th worldwide in one of the most prestigious business school surveys worldwide - the 2013 Financial Times (FT) Global Masters in Management (MiM) B School Rankings. This is the first time IIMC has participated in the Global Rankings survey for Masters in Management and has entered the 19th spot on its debut. The Institute has been ranked above renowned universities of the world such as London School of Economics and Political Science, Copenhagen Business School, Manchester Business School and others.
IIM, Ahmadabad had featured in the FT Rankings for the first time in 2010 when it acquired 8th position. Thereafter, it acquired 7th rank in 2011 and 10th position in 2012. It has been ranked 18th this year. The ranking of the premier Indian Institute of Management, Ahmadabad came down by 8 places to 18th rank.
IIM, Calcutta was ranked number 2 in Economics whereas IIM, Ahmadabad was ranked at 8th position for the same. Moreover, IIM, Ahmadabad has secured 4th position for Marketing.
