IIM Trichy completed its final placements with an average salary of Rs 14.28 lakh and a highest international salary of Rs 54.5 lakh. The highest domestic salary was Rs 31.7 lakh. This year the institute witnessed participation from 113 companies making 177 offers to the students.

Some of the regular recruiters included JP Morgan & Chase, L&T, Cognizant, Dell, ICICI Bank, Microsoft, Avalon Consulting, Deloitte, HCL, Royal Bank of Scotland, RBL Bank and Saint Gobain. New recruiters on campus included the GMR Group, UltraTech Cement, DHL, Tolaram Group, ValueLabs, Trafigura, VLCC and Kotak Life Insurance.

Average annual compensation of the top 10 percentile was Rs 29.4 lakh while that of the top 25 percentile was Rs 22.7 lakh. The median annual compensation was Rs 13 lakh.

There has been an increase in the average annual compensation by 7.4% compared to last year. The average annual compensation of the top 25 percentile increased by 24%.

There has been a four-fold increase in the domestic offers with annual compensation above Rs 30 lakh and six-fold increase in offers with annual compensation above Rs 20 lakhs. 

The break-up of offers across domains is: Consulting and Analytics - 31%, Sales and Marketing - 30%, Finance - 17%, Strategy and General Management - 14%, Operations - 7% and OB & HR - 1%.
