FMS Delhi Placement concluded with higher average salary of Rs.22.6 lakhs for women students while overall average salary has increased to Rs.21.1 lakhs from Rs.20.6 lakhs last year. Out of the batch of 223 students, 215 participated in placement at FMS Delhi and all of them got lucrative offers from 83 companies.
There were 133 companies who confirmed their participation but only 83 could get the opportunity to make recruitment offers to the students. FMS students got 235 offers from 83 companies. There is substantial rise in the average salary cross all the domains although the highest domestic salary has remained same at Rs.54 lakhs as was last year.
Top recruiters include Asian Paints, EY Consulting; Accenture Strategy; ITC, Goldman Sachs, Deloitte, Axis Bank, L&T, Tata Steel, Amazon, WIPRO, TCS, Godrej, TAS among others. The placement process at FMS Delhi was divided into 2 parts, the lateral and the final placement processes. Students with greater than 18 months of work experience prior to their MBA participated in the laterals placement process in November, 2017. Subsequently, the final placement process for the remaining students was held in January 2018.
The placement season saw a rise in average salary to Rs.21.1 lakhs. Highest salary stood at Rs.54 lakhs. Top 100 students of FMS Delhi received offers with an average salary package of Rs.26 lakhs in 2018 while 55% students got offers above Rs. 20 lakhs per annum. The average salary for women students got a jump to Rs. 22.6 lakhs from Rs. 20.2 lakhs last year.
