Goa Institute of Management (GIM) placements witnessed a sharp rise in the highest salary package which was offered to candidates as well as more recruiters showing interest to hire candidates. 62% of the offers made were above Rs. 10 LPA.
IIM Bangalore has released the final Placement 2018 season statistics with Rs.22.76 lakhs average domestic and Rs.58.20 lakhs average international salary with 136 companies making 462 offers to 411 students. Deloitte USI has emerged as the top recruiter with 18 offers followed by Boston Consulting with 17 offers.
IIM Rohtak completed its final placement 2018 with 16% rise in highest salary to Rs. 30 lakhs from earlier Rs.25.9 lakhs. Number of recruiters has increased to 90 this year from 57 last year with 40 new recruiters. IIM Rohtak has also added three international recruiters. Top recruiters were Google, Amazon, Dabur, EY, KPMG, Amul, GMR, Patanjali, Tolaram among others.
IIM Kashipur concluded Placement 2018 successfully with 55% increase in the number of offers and 45% increase in number of recruiters. Despite the fact that batch size has increased by 40%, IIM Kashipur has proved that it is not the least achiever while talking about the placements.
IIM Shillong concluded final placement 2018 with average salary going up to Rs.15.5 lakhs from Rs.14.8 lakhs and the highest salary of Rs.26 Lakhs from Rs. 24 lakhs last year. Despite increase in participants in placement 2018 to 169, there were 176 offers made to the candidates.
IIM Trichy completed its final placements with an average salary of Rs 14.28 lakh and a highest international salary of Rs 54.5 lakh. The highest domestic salary was Rs 31.7 lakh. This year the institute witnessed participation from 113 companies making 177 offers to the students.
IIM Ranchi concluded Placement 2018 with higher salary packages at the domestic as well as international level. Highest international salary has gone up at Rs.57 lakhs while the highest domestic salary is Rs.30 lakhs. The average salary has also gone up at Rs.16.07 lakhs.
IIM Calcutta completed the final placement process for the Batch of 2018 in just a little over two days, with over 130 firms offering profiles across diverse sectors. A total of 481 offers were made out of which nearly 50% were from the Finance and Consulting sectors.
Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Lucknow completed final placements for the PGP class of 2016-18 with a total of 454 offers being made by 143 recruiters including 47 new recruiters for a batch of 445 students. The offers included 20% increase in the number of Pre Placement Offers, 30% increase in the number of offers from the Higher Entry Placement Process (HEPP) and 220 offers from the final placements.
Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (JBIMS) Mumbai has completed its final placement 2018 with a higher average salary, more PPOs offered to the students and more number of new recruiters visiting the campus for placement. Entire batch of 130 MMS 2016-18 students at JBIMS got placed.
Out of 125 companies participating in placement 2018 at IIM Ahmedabad and making 150 placement offers, 31% offers came from only three companies - Accenture, Amazon and Boston Consulting who made 46 offers and emerged as top recruiters. Firms from multiple domains participated across the three clusters in the final placements, with students being placed across more than 23 cohorts.
MDI Gurgaon, one of the premier B-schools in India has concluded its placement 2018 with high average packages including international salary packages of Rs.55 lakhs per annum. The B-school saw 28 new recruiters making offers. The institute witnessed higher average salary of Rs.19.17 lakhs offered by 119 recruiters for its 2016-18 batch of 331 students.
IIM Indore has wrapped up Placement 2018 for its largest batch of 624 students with an average salary of Rs.18.17 lakhs and highest salary of Rs.33.04 lakhs along with coveted roles offered by 200 recruiters who rolled out offers to 624 students including 443 PGP participants, 68 PGP Mumbai participants along with 113 participants from the 5 year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM).
IMT Ghaziabad has recorded higher packages in 2018. This year IMT student has grabbed international pay package equivalent to Rs.36 lakhs. The highest domestic package has also remained as high as Rs.25 lakhs. Average salary for largest ever batch 2016-18 at IMT Ghaziabad has gone up to Rs.11.60 lakhs from Rs.11.26 lakhs last year. 23% of placed students are hired in Analytics sector followed by 21% in BFSI.
The institute achieved 100% placement for its largest batch 2016-18 of 468 students with a higher average salary. The salary increase for PGDM General programme was 150% for the students with 2 years and more work experience while it was 200% in PGDM-BKFS programme. The average package for the batch went up to Rs. 10.60 lakhs from Rs. 10.10 lakhs last year.
IIFT has concluded Placement with 55% more international offers. Four IIFT students received a package of USD 150,000 (Rs 1 crore) per annum along with another layer of compensation of USD 80,000 (Rs.53 lakhs) being offered to 7 IIFT students. Average salary in IIFT Placement has gone up to Rs.19.23 lakhs.
FMS Delhi Placement concluded with higher average salary of Rs.22.6 lakhs for women students while overall average salary has increased to Rs.21.1 lakhs from Rs.20.6 lakhs last year. Out of the batch of 223 students, 215 participated in placement at FMS Delhi and all of them got lucrative offers from 83 companies.
