You must obtain a Bachelor's degree of minimum three years duration or equivalent examination from a recognised university.

Full-time MBA programme

  • A valid Bachelor’s degree of minimum three years’ duration or equivalent examination from any recognised University.

  • For General category examinees, a minimum aggregate score of 50 per cent in all subjects including languages in all the years of the degree examination taken is a mandate.

  • For SC / ST / Category-I category examinees, a minimum aggregate score of 45 per cent in all subjects including languages in all the years of the degree examination taken is a mandate.

  • Above-mentioned reservation is applicable only for Karnataka state candidates.

Part-time MBA programme

  • A Bachelor’s degree of minimum three years’ duration or equivalent examination from any recognised University.

  • For General category candidates, a minimum aggregate score of 50 per cent in all subjects including languages in all the years of the degree examination taken is a mandate.

  • For SC / ST / Category-I category examinees, a minimum aggregate score of 45 per cent in all subjects including languages in all the years of the degree examination taken is a mandate but this reservation is applicable only for Karnataka state candidates.

  • Additionally, candidates aspiring for part-time MBA programme must have a work experience of not less than three years, in an establishment and must be working in an organisation situated within a radial distance of 40 km from the institution where a candidate seeks admission to. 

Karnataka PGCET (Post Graduate Common Entrance Test) is state level MBA entrance exam conducted by KEA (Karnataka Examinations Authority) for admissions to postgraduate management programmes across the state of Karnataka.
