How to Apply for Karnataka PGCET MBA

The application procedure of Karnataka PGCET MBA includes registration, filling the application form, and payment of the stipulated application fee to be paid in online mode.

The application fee for the state-based management entrance exam for General and OBC category candidates is Rs. 650; candidates from ST or SC and Category-I need to pay Rs. 500 as application fee.

The first step towards filling the application form is to complete the registration process in online mode. This process is followed by filling the application form and paying the application fee successfully.

Step 1: Registration

For registering, open the official website (kea.kar.nic.in) and enter the required personal details such as the candidate’s name, DOB, gender, email ID, parent’s name. Then, create a User ID and a unique Password. This is followed by asking applicants to select a secret question and answer. Finally, enter a security code displayed on the screen.

After the successful registration, a unique application number is auto-generated by the system. You need to log in with the unique application number and start filling the application form by entering the required details.

Step 2: Fill the Application Form

First, personal details of the applicants need to be duly filled followed by the selection of preferred exam centre. You need to once again fill in your personal credentials including academic details like marks secured, year of passing, the name of institute, total percentage obtained, etc.

The score of GATE is required as well, in case the candidate has appeared for the exam. Then, enter the complete postal address for future reference.

Step 3: Upload Images

Scan your recent image, signature and left thumb impression for uploading. Blurry images are not be accepted by the administrators. The photograph or image uploaded should have clarity and the signature should be done on a white paper.

The thumb-print should not be blurry. Images to be uploaded should be in accordance with the dimensions mentioned below:

Step 4: Submit Online Application Form

After filling the required details, you must review it before agreeing to the ‘terms and conditions’ and submit it. After the final submission, no alterations or modifications in the application form are permitted.

Step 5: Payment of Application Fees

The application fee can be paid in both online and offline modes. If you opt to pay the required fees through online mode, you can do so through Net Banking or Debit card or Credit card.

If you choose to pay via offline mode, deposit cash at any branch of State Bank of Mysore.
