MICAT

MICAT is the admission test conducted by Mudra Institute of Communications, Ahmedabad (MICA). The PGDM-C is the flagship program of MICA, Ahmedabad. You have to apply to MICA through CAT or XAT or GMAT score and you will be called for MICAT, subject to your application form being accepted by MICA. Based on the performance of the MICA Admission Test (MICAT), you are shortlisted for Group Exercise (GE) and Personal Interview (PI).

Mudra Institute of Communication, Ahemdabad conducts MICAT for admissions to Post Graduate Diploma in Management (Communications) Program. Its PGDM-C program is specially designed for the aspiring marketing communication professionals.

MICAT is conducted in online mode. The duration of the exam is 2 hours and 45 minutes.

You should have a Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification in any discipline recognised by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). The aspirants aiming to take MICAT should first appear in one of the national level MBA entrance exams like CAT, XAT or GMAT.

While filling the application form, you have to select the city in which you wish to take MICAT entrance exam. The exact address of the exam centre is mentioned in the admit card.

MICAT is conducted twice in online mode for the various programmes offered by the institute. Before filling the application form, you should have the requisite details and documents ready. For all the categories, the fee is Rs.1965 which can be paid in online mode, through debit card, credit card or demand draft.

MICA Ahmedabad conducts its national level management entrance test for admissions to its Post Graduate Diploma in Communications (PGDM-C). The MICAT-I 2018 test comprised of three parts: Descriptive, Objective and Psychometric.

The candidates who clear the entrance exam, are shortlisted for MICAT selection procedure. They have to participate in group exercise and personal interview. The final result is declared in the last week of March.

Based on the MICAT result, aspirants are shortlisted for the Group Exercise (GE) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds. The final result states the selection status of the candidates who had appeared for the GE-PI rounds or selection procedure.

MICA, Ahmadabad does not officially release the cutoff. However, candidates are called for the next round of selection which comprises of interview and group discussion if they meet the requisite cutoff. The cutoff is the minimum marks which you have to score to be eligible to participate in the next round.
