Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is a National Entrance Test conducted by All India Management Aptitude Testing Service (AIMATS), for admission to MBA and equivalent programmes of the various participating institutes. AIMA-MAT is conducted 4 times a year in February, May, September and December. The list of institutes that use the AIMA-MAT results varies from test to test.

AIMA MAT exam is held in two formats. You have option for taking MAT either as paper based or computer based test.

Eligibility Criteria

You should be graduate in any discipline with minimum 50% marks. You can also apply even if you are in the final year. 

There is no age limit prescribed to appear for MAT.

Exam Pattern

The duration of the exam is 2 hours and 30 minutes. There are 200 objective questions divided in five sections. Each section has 40 questions carrying 1 mark each. There is negative marking for wrong answer. 1/4th mark (0.25 marks) is deducted for each incorrect answer.

Admit Card

You can download the admit card after the completion of application process. Hard copy of the admit card is not sent to any of the candidates.
