MAH CET Eligibility Criteria

All graduate students from any discipline from an accredited institute or university are eligible to appear for MAH CET.

Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra sets the MAH CET eligibility criteria.

  • Prospective MBA candidate must be a graduate in any programme or course (of minimum period three years) from any college, institute or university, which is acknowledged by Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

  • General category candidates are eligible to appear for MAH CET only if they have scored minimum 50 per cent marks in aggregate (the grand total of all three or four years of graduation score which decides the class of the candidate).

  • Final year graduation students whose result is scheduled to be declared before commencement of admission are also eligible to apply. However, in order to secure final admission to an institute, they need to qualify the examination and also score as per the requirements of MAH CET eligibility criteria.

  • In case the candidates are awarded grades or CGPA instead of marks, the conversion of grades or CGPA to percentage of marks would be based on the procedure certified by the University or institution from where they have obtained the bachelor's degree. The percentage of marks shall be calculated by rounding off to two places after the decimal.

  • Only backward class candidates, differently abled and natives of Maharashtra state, required to secure at least 45 percent marks in aggregate in their graduation.

  • Age Criteria: There is no age limit for MAH CET applicants.
