Karnataka Management Admission Test (KMAT) is conducted for admission into Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Computer Application (MCA) programs. The exam is conducted by Conducted by Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges Association (KPPGCA) for admissions to more than 150 AICTE-approved University-affiliated B-schools in Bangalore and Karnataka.

For MBA/PGDM Programs, you should have bachelors degree with minimum 3 years duration or masters degree examination of any recognized education body in Commerce, Management, Arts, Social Sciences, Engineering/ Technology or equivalent, and have secured at least 50% of marks in the aggregate (40% for SC/ST candidate). Candidates in their final year of bachelor’s degree are also eligible.
The duration of the exam is 2 hours. For MBA Paper, there are three sections:
- Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension
- Quantitative Ability
- Logical Reasoning
There are total 120 questions, with each section having 40 questions. It is a paper-pencil based test.
