The KMAT Kerala Entrance Examination for admission to MBA course is conducted by Kerala University of Fisheries and Ocean Studies (KUFOS) under the supervision of Admission Supervisory Committee (ASC).
The Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) conducts KMAT exam offline mode. Candidates with minimum 50 percent aggregate in graduation can apply for KMAT Kerala. This exam is conducted for admissions to MBA or PGDM programmes in various university affiliated colleges of Kerala State.

The duration of the exam is 2.5 hours.

Marking Scheme: Each question is assigned 4 marks which means every correct answer gets 4 marks. The exam has negative marking as well. One mark is deducted for every incorrect response.
For MBA/PGDM programmes
Candidates with at least 50 percent marks in aggregate (45 percent for SC/ST candidates) in graduation from a recognised board / university / education body are eligible to apply. The duration of graduation has to be a minimum of three years.
Or Candidates with Master’s degree from any recognised education body in Commerce, Management, Arts, Social Sciences, Engineering/ Technology or equivalent.
Candidates in their final year of graduation are also eligible to apply for the exam.
The candidate seeking for MBA admission will have to qualify in any of the entrance test such as KMAT Kerala, CMAT and CAT.
