After the result of IRMASAT is announced, Institute of Rural Management Anand releases the cutoffs for admission to the Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Management (PGDRM) programme. The cutoff refers to the minimum marks or percentile that a candidate has to secure in order to get shortlisted for the selection process. The selection process involves Group Activities (GA) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds.
Admissions will be determined on the basis of a candidate's performance in IRMASAT, further selection rounds and the general candidate profile.
IRMASAT is a national level entrance exam, conducted by the Institute of Rural Management Anand for admissions to the PGDRM programme which offers a total of 180 seats.

The selection procedure of IRMA includes three steps:
- Performance in IRMASAT
