IRMA Social Awareness Test (IRMASAT) is a national level entrance exam for admission to Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Management programme (PGDRM). IRMA is a pioneering academic institution in rural management education and research. IRMA uses CAT or XAT scores for admission to Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Management and Fellow Programme in Rural Management. All applicants have to additionally appear for IRMASAT test.

IRMASAT Syllabus

Institute of Rural Management Anand does not release any official syllabus of IRMA Social Awareness Test (IRMASAT). Based on past years’ exam pattern and question types, you can identify the important topics or areas which must the prepared.

IRMASAT Exam Pattern

IRMASAT is a computer-based test of 80 minutes duration carrying 40 objective type multiple choice questions (MCQs) on Issues of Social Concern section. The exam is based on General Awareness and topics covered under Issues of Social Concern.

IRMASAT Eligibility Criteria

You should have a Bachelor’s degree with at least 50 percent aggregate marks (45 percent for SC / ST / DPA candidates) or equivalent CGPA.

IRMA Exam Centres

IRMA exam, conducted by Institute of Rural Management Anand, is an online exam which is conducted for shortlisting the candidates for admission to its programs in rural management. The exam is conducted in around 60 cities covering around 19 states of India.

How to Apply for IRMASAT

IRMASAT application form is available in both online and offline modes. As per the eligibility criteria, graduates in any discipline from a recognised university with minimum 50% (45% for SC/ ST/ DAP category) aggregate marks could apply for IRMASAT.

IRMASAT Admit Card

Institute of Rural Management Anand issues the IRMASAT admit card in the last week of January. The admit card is issued only to those candidates, whose application form gets accepted by the examination authority. You can download the hall ticket in online mode.

IRMASAT Result

You can check your IRMASAT result cum score card by entering login credentials - application number and date of birth. You can check sectional and overall scores as well as percentile secured. Based on the IRMASAT result, Institute of Rural Management Anand declares shortlist of candidates. The shortlisted candidates have to attend GA and PI process.

IRMASAT Cutoff

After the result of IRMASAT is announced, Institute of Rural Management Anand releases the cutoffs for admission to the Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Management (PGDRM) programme. The cutoff refers to the minimum marks or percentile that a candidate has to secure in order to get shortlisted for the selection process. The selection process involves Group Activities (GA) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds.

IRMASAT Selection Procedure

The selection procedure of IRMA is a three-step process. For the Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Management (PGDRM) aspirants, appearing for CAT or XAT followed by IRMA Social Awareness Test (IRMASAT) are the first two steps. Based on their performance, IRMA shortlists candidates.
