IIFT Syllabus

The exam is divided into four major sections - English Comprehension, GK & Current Affairs, Logical Reasoning & Data Interpretation and Quantitative Analysis. The duration of the test is two hours. The IIFT entrance exam is conducted for admission to IIFT’s MBA in International Business (IB) programme at Delhi and Kolkata campus.

IIFT Exam Pattern

The test is divided into six sections - Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, General Awareness, Verbal Ability, Reading Comprehension, and Quantitative Aptitude. The duration of the test is two hours and based on previous years’ pattern, the marking scheme for each section would be different.

IIFT Eligibility Criteria

Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), Delhi, prescribes the eligibility criteria of IIFT entrance exam. You must have a bachelor’s degree from a recognised Institute or college in order to apply for the exam. Final year students of graduation are also eligible to apply.

How to Apply for IIFT

Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, Delhi, starts the IIFT registration from the last week of July. The candidates who make IIFT registration and submit the application form along with the application fee would be able to download the admit card. You can fill the application form via both online and offline mode.

IIFT Selection Procedure

The selection procedure of IIFT starts after the announcement of result. It is a two-step process where candidates are shortlisted based on their IIFT performance. The shortlisted candidates are called for Writing Ability Test (WAT), Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI).

IIFT Exam Centres

IIFT is a national level management entrance exam for admission to two years MBA International Business programme at IIFT Delhi, Kolkata and Kakinada campuses. IIFT is conducted in 20 cities all over India. During 2018 application process, you can choose one test city according to your preference. You can request to change the exam centre by paying a fee of Rs.1000.

IIFT Admit Card

National Testing Agency releases the IIFT admit card in online mode. You can download by entering login details. The admit card contains the necessary details related to the exam such as the date and time of the exam, address of the test centre, exam day instructions.

IIFT Exam Analysis

IIFT 2017 was conducted on 3rd Dec 2017 for admission to the prestigious Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) located in Delhi, Kolkata, and Kakinada (AP). The test was conducted across various centers in the country from 10 AM to 12 Noon. The duration of the exam was 2 hours with no sectional time limit.

IIFT Result

Indian Institute of Foreign Trade declares the IIFT result tentatively in the first week of January for candidates who appeared in the exam and wish to seek admission in its MBA (IB) programme. The result is available in the form of a score card which can be downloaded in the form of pdf by logging in with User ID and Date of Birth.

IIFT Cutoff

Indian Institute of Foreign Trade announces the list of candidates selected for MBA (IB) programme at Kolkata and Delhi campuses. Around 2000 candidates are selected for further rounds. IIFT cutoff includes the sectional scores as well as the overall score and percentile. Cutoff is the minimum marks a test taker has to obtain in order to clear the management exam.
