IBSAT (ICFAI Business School Aptitude Test) is an aptitude test conducted by the ICFAI University, for students seeking admission into IBS to Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Post Graduate Program in Management (PGPM) programs.

IBSAT has become computer-based test from 2013. The test scores of IBSAT are considered for admission to nine IBS campuses for admission to PhD and MBA programs.
IBSAT is a computer-based test of 2 hours carrying 140 multiple choice questions divided into four sections. The exam is conducted for admission to various MBA and PGPM programmes to nine IBS campuses.
You must have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised university with at least 50 percent aggregate marks.
The admit card of IBSAT is released in the third week of December. You can download the admit card using your Application Number and Date of Birth. The IBSAT admit card is available in online mode only. No candidate is allowed to appear for the exam without admit card.
IBSAT selection procedure is a two way process which all participating institutes follow after ICFAI announces the IBSAT result. The selection process includes group discussion and personal interview rounds. The candidates who are shortlisted for these rounds are called for selection briefings. The selection briefings take place in many cities. Once the selection briefings process is finished, the process of group discussion and personal interview starts.
All 9 IBSAT Institutes accept IBSAT scores for admission to MBA / PGPM / PhD courses.
IBS Hyderabad declares the IBSAT result in online mode. You have to login with credentials - application number and password to check your result. Based on the result, the participating institutes announce a shortlist for the selection process. The selected candidates are called for Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI).
The cutoff for IBSAT is announced after the final results are declared by The ICFAI Foundation. The cutoff is the minimum marks or percentile that you require for getting selected for further rounds of the admission process. The shortlisted candidates have to appear for Group Discussion and Personal Interview rounds conducted by participating institutes.
