NMAT 2015 started on 7 October, 2014 and continued till 20 December, 2014. It is an online test that is conducted on the worldwide testing pattern. Pearson VUE is conducting NMAT 2015 on behalf of NMIMS University.
The test contained computer based 120 objective type multiple-choice questions, to be solved in 2 hours (120 minutes). There were no descriptive type of questions. T he difficulty level of NMAT 2015 can be rated as moderate.
LR contained questions with a mix of Verbal and Critical Reasoning as well as Decision making. The question came from topics like assumptions, conclusions, family tree, numerical grid, coding, series, direction sense, syllogism, arrangements, etc. All the questions in this section were to be completed in 38 minutes.
Questions in this section were from Grammar topics such as usage on parts of speech, tenses, conditionals, modifiers, etc. The RC passages were short. Jumbled paragraphs, fill in the blanks, synonyms-antonyms also appeared in this section. This section had to be solved in 22 minutes.
Quantitative skills contain questions from Quant as well as from data interpretation & data sufficiency. Topics in this section include Number system, PnC, Algebra, Mensuration, Geometry, Modern Maths, etc. This section had 48 questions to be solved in 60 minutes.
