K J Somaiya Institute of Management Studies & Research (SIMSR) accepts the scores of CAT, XAT, CMAT and GMAT for its admission process. The cutoff refers to the minimum score or percentile that you need to obtain in any of the exam in order to enter the admission process of the institute.

Candidates are shortlisted for Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds on the basis of their test scores. The institute also considers past academic performance, work experience, and achievements for the admission process. After the GD-PI rounds, merit list is published mentioning the merit position of the candidate.

SIMSR Selection Process

  1. Candidates are shortlisted on the basis of their CAT / XAT / CMAT / GMAT scores for GD and PI.

  2. Shortlisted candidates are required to fill the Statement of Purpose (SOP).

  3. GD-PI process is conducted in different cities across India. This process includes case-based GD and in-depth PI.

  4. Declaration of the consolidated merit list on the basis of test score + GD-PI + Academic Performance + Work Experience + Achievements
