For the admission to the PGDM, PGDM (HCM), and PGDM (BDA) management programmes, GIM Goa considers students who qualify the cutoff of CAT exam. GIM Goa cutoff attributes a specific weightage (40 percent) which conjoins under Objective and Leadership Assessment. Along with CAT scores, the institute accepts the scores of XAT, CMAT and GMAT as well.
The Goa Institute of Management (GIM) CAT cutoff percentile is around 85 to 95 percentile.

The qualifying cut-off of XAT / CAT / GMAT / CMAT score is lowered by 15 points for candidates of Goa domicile or origin. This facility can be availed against documentary evidence of domicile which must be submitted to the office. The weightage of the entrance exams are clubbed with the Group Activity assessment.
The number of seats allotted for the full-time PGDM course is 240; for PGDM (HCM) and PGDM (BDA) course, it is 60.
You must obtain 50 percent aggregate scores (45 percent for candidates belonging to SC / ST category) to be eligible for the further rounds of admission. Candidates who are in their last year of degree should have obtained minimum 50 percent aggregate in the latest examination to become eligible for applying.
The selection procedure is strictly based on merit and performance. Shortlisting for PGDM for the regular round is based on XAT, CAT, GMAT or CMAT score of candidates. The shortlisted candidates are invited for the interview process in various cities.
