IIM Sirmaur - Indian Institute of Management, Himachal Pradesh
The institute has started its operations under the guidance and mentorship of the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow. The first batch of the Post Graduate Program (PGP) in Management at IIM Sirmaur started in September, 2015.
The temporary campus of IIM Sirmaur has been setup at the Himachal Institute of Technology, Paonta Sahib, Sirmaur in Himachal Pradesh. The Government of Himachal Pradesh has allotted over 200 acres of land in Dhaula Kuan near Nahan town for the permanent campus of the institute.

Post Graduate Programme in Management
The Post Graduate Programme in Management is a two-year, full time residential programme. The first year coursework is spread over three terms. It comprises core courses that explain the fundamentals concepts of management across the different functional areas. The courses in the first year curriculum are mandatory for all the students. The first year coursework is followed by a summer internship. During the summer internship, students are required to work on an industry project with an organisation for a period of eight to ten weeks.
The second year coursework is spread over the next three terms (Term IV to Term VI). The second year students are offered elective courses across different functional areas such as marketing, finance, and economics. The students can opt for elective courses based on their preferences, insofar as they fulfil the minimum credit requirements for the programme. The participants who successfully fulfill all the requirements of the programme are awarded the 'Post-graduate Diploma in Management'.
