IIM Sambalpur Shortlisting Criteria
The admission process consists of two stages: shortlisting of candidates and the final Selection of candidates. During the first stage, initially a pool of candidates who satisfy the following minimum CAT percentiles are considered.
Category of Candidate | Sectional Percentile | Overall Percentile |
---|---|---|
General | 80 | 90 |
OBC (NC) | 65 | 78 |
SC | 50 | 60 |
ST | 30 | 40 |
DAP | 30 | 40 |
The above percentiles are just minimum eligibility percentiles, the actual cutoffs may be higher than this.
IIM Sambalpur has shortlisted candidates only on the basis of their CAT performance. This goes on to show that performing well in CAT would go a long way in securing a WAT/PI call from this premier B-school.
