AP ICET Result

Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati on behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council for Higher Education (APSCHE), declares the AP ICET result. The result is available online and you have to enter their registration number and date of birth to the check the same. APICET result will be announced in the form of ranks and scores. The rank card and score card will be released few days after the declaration of AP ICET result.

However, only those securing qualifying marks will be considered for the rank list. The minimum qualifying marks for general category is 25 percent while there is no qualifying score for SC/ST candidates. As the AP ICET exam is conducted in two sessions, the scores of candidates are normalised to adjust the difficulty level of the question papers across shifts.

How To Check AP ICET Result

  1. Visit the official website.

  2. Look for the ‘Result’ tab on the homepage and click on the same.

  3. Enter the ‘Hall Ticket Number’ as mentioned on the admit card and enter submit.

  4. The result will appear on the screen.

  5. Take a printout of the same for future purposes.

Re-evaluation 

Any candidate who wishes to get a re-evaluation done of the AP ICET result needs to submit an application with a re-evaluation fee of Rs. 1000. The re-evaluation application and fee need to be submitted within 15 days of the declaration of result.

A minimum qualifying score for the AP ICET is set by the conducting body. The qualifying score for candidates belonging to general category is 25 percent which is a minimum of 50 marks out of the total qualifying marks, i.e. 200. There is no minimum qualifying percentage of marks to clear the exam for candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes or Scheduled Tribes categories.

Tie Breaker

In an event where one or more candidates get similar marks, a tie-breaker will be used to assess the qualifying candidate based on the following steps:

  • Section A: Marks scored by the candidate in this section will be considered first while applying the tie-breaker.

  • Section B: This section will be referred to in case the tie persists after scores of section A.

  • If the tie still persists, the age of the candidates will be considered and older ones will be given priority.

Based on the performance of the candidate and overall passing percentage observed during the AP ICET result, the cutoff is prepared which will decide the eligibility scores and other criteria for qualifying for the counselling rounds.

What after Declaration of AP ICET Result

Candidates qualifying AP ICET will be called to participate in counselling. The counselling is conducted to allot seats to candidates in the colleges and universities of Andhra Pradesh. Based on ranks in merit list, candidates will be called for counselling. The stages of counselling are:

  1. Registration for verification of certificates

  2. Document verification

  3. Obtain manual option form and fill it

  4. Access and fill in the online option form with the help of the manual form

  5. Allotment of seats

  6. Payment of the fee, reporting at the college and participating in the pre-admission processes
