GCET is Gujarat Common Entrance Test, conducted by Gujarat Technological University (GTU) for admissions to Masters of Business Administration (MBA) and Masters of Computer Application (MCA). GCET is conducted online from 2009.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who are graduates with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST students) aggregate are eligible to apply for the test subject to fulfilling at least one of the following criteria:

  1. Candidate must have passed graduation from one the Universities located in Gujarat.
  2. Candidates who are in their final year of graduation are also eligible for the test. There is neither an age limit nor an attempt limit.

Exam Pattern

GCET will be computer based test. The duration of the test is 80 minutes. There are 100 multiple choice questions with negative marking for wrong answers. There will be test of 96 minutes for students appearing for MBA and MCA both with 120 multiple choice questions. There are 4 sections in GCET - Logical Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, English Language Skills and General Knowledge.
