SNAP 2017 Analysis
SNAP 2017 for admission to various MBA programmes in Symbiosis University was conducted on December 17, 2017, at various examination centres across India. The question paper had four sections - General English, Current Affairs, Quantitative Ability and Analytical & Logical Reasoning with 40, 30, 40 and 40 questions in each section respectively. Candidates got 120 minutes to solve the questions.
Common Management Admission Test (CMAT)
All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) conducts national-level Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) every year. CMAT is an entrance test for admission to over 4,000 colleges that offer MBA and 500 colleges which run postgraduate diploma in management programs. It is a computer-based test (CBT), conducted once in a year in January.
Total Seats and Fees for IIMs
Indian Institutes of Management (IIM) are the top B-Schools in India that offer management education to candidates who clear the CAT. There are 20 IIMs in India. It is mandatory for management aspirants to crack the CAT exam in order to get admission into any IIM. The IIM college fees or the PGP IIM course fee is different for each IIM.

MICAT (Mudra Institute of Communications, Ahmedabad)
MICAT is the admission test conducted by Mudra Institute of Communications, Ahmedabad (MICA). The PGDM-C is the flagship program of MICA, Ahmedabad. You have to apply to MICA through CAT or XAT or GMAT score and you will be called for MICAT, subject to your application form being accepted by MICA. Based on the performance of the MICA Admission Test (MICAT), you are shortlisted for Group Exercise (GE) and Personal Interview (PI).
FMS - Faculty of Management Studies, Delhi University
Till the academic year 2011, FMS (Faculty of Management Studies of the University of Delhi) had been admitting students through FMS Entrance Test. From the academic year 2012, Admission to MBA (Full-Time) and Ph.D. programmes are based on academic marks, extempore speech, personal interview, group discussion and Common Admission Test score conducted by Indian Institutes of Management. Faculty of Management Studies have courses of MBA (full-time), MBA Executive an MBA Executive (Health Care Administration) and PhD.
The online registrations began on 5 October, 2017. The last date to apply is 20 November, 2017.
MAH CET - Maharashtra
Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra conducts Maharashtra-Common Entrance Test (MAH-CET) for taking to admission to first year Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Management Studies (MMS) and Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) programs in the Government, University Managed, University Departments and Unaided Institutes in the Maharashtra State. The online test is followed by a group discussion and personal interview (GDPI).
