Selection & Admission Process for 2014-16 Batch
IIM Ahmedabad follows two-step process for admission to PGP in management. In the first step, you are short-listed for written aptitude and personal interview after taking Common Admission Test.
IIM-A Cutoff Percentile for First Short-List

From each of the five categories of academic disciplines, top 50 candidates or top 1% of the number of applicants to IIM Ahmedabad within each category (whichever is lower) will be directly shortlisted for the WA-PI round.
Application Rating Score (AR)
The application rating is calculated based on your academic performance (percentage marks obtained) in 10th, 12th and Bachelor's Degree Examination.

AR = 0.5*A + 1.5*B + 2.5*C
Maximum Score of AR = 45
Composite score is calculated using your CAT Score (70 % weightage) and AR Score (30% weightage).
0.7*(CAT Score)/450 + 0.3*(AR Score)/45
Final Selection (Stage II)
After completion of written analysis and personal interview, 70% weightage is given to WA-PI score and 30% weightage is given to your Composite Score at the final stage of selection.
