University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES), Dehradun conducts UPES-MET as an entrance exam for taking admission to two year Master of Business Administration (MBA) program in Oil & Gas Management, Power Management, Information Systems Management, Aviation Management, Port & Shipping Management, Energy Trading, Infrastructure Management, Logistics & Supply Chain Management and International Business offered at College of Management & Economics Studies.

Admission Procedure

MBA admissions are through National Level Tests - CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT/NMAT followed by Group Discussion and Personal Interview. You can can seek admission to UPES MBA programs by taking the UPES Management Entrance Test.

Eligibility Criteria

For MBA in Oil & Gas Management Program: You should have minimum 50% marks at higher & senior secondary level (10th & 12th). You should be Engineering / B.Sc (PCM) graduates with minimum 50%marks from a recognized university.

For MBA in Energy Trading Program: You should have minimum 50% marks at higher & senior secondary level (10th & 12th). You should have graduation in Commerce / Economics / Mathematics / Statistics / CA / ICWA / B.Tech / B.Sc (PCM) with minimum 50% marks from a recognized university.

For MBA in Aviation Management Program: You  should have minimum 50% marks at higher & senior secondary level (10th & 12th). You should have graduation with minimum 50% marks from a recognized University.

Exam Pattern

The exam consists of 160 questions wiith 40 questions in 4 sections:

  1. General English: Reading Comprehension, Verbal Reasoning, Verbal Ability
  2. Quantitative: Data Interpretation and Data Sufficiency
  3. General Awareness: General Knowledge, Current Affairs, Business Scenario
  4. Analytical and Logical Reasoning
