AICTE CMAT 2014
All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) conducts the Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) two times in a year. You are eligible to appear in both the exams and the best of two scores will be used for admission. CMAT is an entrance test for admission to 4,000 colleges that offer MBA and 500 colleges which run postgraduate diploma in management programs. CMAT is a computer-based test (CBT).
CMAT Important Dates
- Start of Registration: 1 November, 2014
- Last Date to Apply: 2 January, 2014
- Exam Dates: 20 to 24 February, 2014
- Results: 14 March, 2014
The second CMAT exam will be conducted from 20 February to 24 February, 2014.
CMAT Eligibility: Graduates in any discipline or final year students of Graduate Courses can apply for CMAT.
CMAT Exam Pattern
There are four sections in the test - (a) Logical Reasoning (b) Language Comprehension (c) Quantitative Techniques & Data Interpretation (d) General Awareness. There are 25 questions in each section. Each question is of 4 marks. The duration of the test is 180 minutes. There are total of 100 questions. There is negative marking for wrong answers. 4 marks will be awarded for each correct answer and 1 mark will be deducted for wrong answer.
