All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) conducts the Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) every year. CMAT is an entrance test for admission to 4,000 colleges that offer MBA and 500 colleges which run postgraduate diploma in management programs. It is a computer-based test (CBT).

CMAT Eligibility: Graduates in any discipline or final year students of Graduate Courses can apply for CMAT.
There are four sections in the test - (a) Logical Reasoning (b) Language Comprehension (c) Quantitative Techniques & Data Interpretation (d) General Awareness. There are 25 questions in each section. Each question is of 4 marks. The duration of the test is 180 minutes. There are total of 100 questions. There is negative marking for wrong answers. 4 marks will be awarded for each correct answer and 1 mark will be deducted for wrong answer.
